About
Lavonne Hall, a native New Yorker, studied photography and film at Fordham University. During her time at Fordham, she became involved with the NY Rock & Roll club scene and music television production. Through these venues she connected with a slew of interesting characters. She has built up a substantial body of work, examples of which have appeared in several exhibitions and publications. After the demise of the 90′s music scene, Lavonne decided to expand her horizons by teaching English in Osaka, Japan. It was an amazing opportunity to photograph a beautiful country.
Two years later and back in New York, she studied advance photographic techniques at the International Center of Photography. She then became an ICP digital lab assistant, an instructor and is now a staff/events photographer.
Lavonne freelances as a digital consultant and a mixed media artist who incorporates photography and video. She assists several clients with a variety of artistic projects and travels the world to capture colorful, graphical and intriguing subjects.
