BIO
Lavonne Hall was born and raised in New York City. She has always had a love
for photography. Started out as the yearbook photographer in elementary school.
From then on she has joined other extra-curricular photography related activities
in every school she has attended including university. She studied photography
and film at Fordham University. While attending Fordham, she interned at MTV
and assisted a paparazzi photographer. From the late 80’s to mid 90’s
she has had many freelance gigs with MTV and various nightclubs photographing
an array of performers.
In the late 90’s she had traveled to parts of Australia, Asia and Europe.
During this time, she had decided to change directions and photograph landscapes
and anything associated with traveling. Although she is trying a different path
in her career, she still enjoys photographing people, portraits and performers.
After her travel excursions, she volunteered at the International Center of Photography
